James Vincent
Adviser
I started playing squash at the age of 9 and represented Auckland and New Zealand at age group level. The highlight of my career was representing New Zealand at the Under 19 World Junior Championships held in Milan Italy.
While playing Black Jack at the casino on a family cruise of the Caribbean, I decided that I wanted to become a Croupier. I learned how to deal Black Jack, Baccarat, Roulette and Pai Gow at Sky City Auckland where I spent three years working as a Croupier.
I wanted to further my career as a Croupier so made the decision to move to Sydney where I worked as a Croupier & Gaming Supervisor for ten years.
During my stay in Sydney I met my now wife Sara of 13 years. We had two children together, Eric & Amber while living in Sydney. When expecting our third child Grace we made the decision to move home to New Zealand to bring up our young family.
On returning home to New Zealand I left the casino industry to become an Insurance Adviser which I have now been working as since 2014. I feel as though the customer service skills I learned while working in the casino have made me the Adviser I am today.
